Day II 4th Students Exchange, Rome. Italy

Ostia and Lazio a beautiful day to enjoy.

Erasmus+ READ in Europe for Amusement and Dialogue.

Today in the morning, the sun was shining and... It was the perfect day to visit OSTIA, but first we had a very important meeting with the regional authorities of Lazio in this beautiful city. There, after introducing our school we all were welcome by the Local Representative for Education who highlighted the importance of this opportunity of exchange for us as teachers and for our students.

Then we went to the Roman town of OSTIA. Ostia Antica is a large archeological site, close to the modern suburb of Ostia, that was the location of the harbour city of ancient Rome, which is approximately 30 kilometres to the northeast. The place is noted for the excellent preservation of its ancient buildings, magnificent frescoes and impressive mosaics. There, we had a guided tour that were really interesting and after having lunch we played a game in which we had to follow some clues and take pictures of different monuments. Definetly, it has been a very nice day in which we could share our time with all students and collegues.
